Along with his colleagues, this Access Session will take a closer look at what precisely a low carbon and sustainable events industry is like; share their successes and best practices; and show you some practical, no-non-sense ways to create a genuinely sustainable event.

If running concerts are your thing, you definitely want to tune in to Jim King’s (from AEG Live/Loud Sound) case study on the ‘Barclaycard Presents: British Summer Time’ concerts – how it rocked the summer season for supporters and performers alike and how to tweak this model for GREATER impact.

New Niceties On Offer

For 2014, the Events Production Show has two new and VERY instructive additions to their program that will surely take your understanding of event planning and management to a whole new level – the Event Technology Theatre and Production Area.

The former will cover and take a deep look at the why’s and how’s of using digital technology to your advantage: from using social media to generate visitors for your events; using technology for registering and managing your guests; selecting the RIGHT social media platform to promote your events; and everything else in between!

The Production Area, on the other hand, takes you to a trip – showing you what the day-to-day affairs one must handle to successfully manage and run an event.
